Need: Discovery Science Center Board member had relationship with local surf wear designer to potentially fund exhibit, needed collateral materials for donation pitch.
Solution: Working with local stakeholders from Surfrider Foundation, environmental groups and junior high school students, Museum Planning LLC surveyed interest in exhibition areas. Museum Planning LLC developed exhibition plan, budgets and schedules, including traveling exhibition option, and analysis of two locations within institution. Donor pledged to fund exhibit based on collateral materials.
