Discovery Center at Murfree Spring – Nature Play Strategic Plan 2020 – 2025
Create a strategic plan that connects the outdoor Nature Play experience with the Murfree Spring Wetlands at Discovery Center at Murfree Spring.
The resulting strategic plan creates new exhibits at Nature Play, the project will include additional signage within the Wetlands and the City of Murfreesboro. The overall strategy is to position Nature Play as a natural science / natural history outdoor laboratory (for 3 to 12 year olds) with connections to the Wetlands Park.
Educational experiences include; New Nature Play Exhibits, Additional “Linkage Signage” in Murfree Spring Wetlands, Pop-up exhibits in the City Murfreesboro, School Outreach Programming at the Museum, Wetlands and in school, and Online Activities.
